Innovation for Clean Water: Sch\u00f6nborner at WassArena 2026<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

On April 14, 2026<\/strong>, Sch\u00f6nborner Armaturen GmbH<\/strong>\u00a0will be represented at the DVGW WassArena (Berlin), presenting a forward-looking solution for water treatment with its poster contribution on the project \u201cPlasWaFil \u2013 Plasmonic Water Filter.\u201d <\/em>WassArena is one of the key platforms for innovation in the water sector, bringing together experts from practice, industry, and research to critically discuss current challenges, exchange perspectives, and develop solution approaches. This is exactly where our contribution comes in: Micropollutants such as PFAS, pharmaceuticals, and microplastics are increasingly challenging operators, pushing conventional treatment methods to their limits. With PlasWaFil<\/em>, SAG\u2014together with its R&D partner, the University of Potsdam\u2014introduces a new approach. Using plasmonic, light-driven processes, pollutants are not only removed but actively degraded. The result is an energy-efficient and sustainable technology that can be flexibly integrated into existing systems thanks to its modular design. Our goal at WassArena: to showcase innovation, spark new ideas, and engage in direct exchange with users and partners.
