At the Hydrogen Research Centre of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, research is being conducted into electrolysis technologies with the aim of producing hydrogen from fluctuating renewable energies. An electrolysis test stand is being set up as part of a current research project to carry out investigations in the field of novel AEM electrolysis. As a basic component and initial design study of the test stand, an electrolysis cell is needed to test the process-side design and obtain basic process procedures. For this purpose, we, Schönborner Armaturen GmbH, built a large part of this test stand according to the concept of the BTU and delivered it to the university. After completion of the desired stand, research could begin.
